I think the board here on our MP3's are dying guys :(

Just seems like not a whole lot of traffic, then again our cars are 3 years old now (encourage

i'm always here, i just spend a lot more time in forced induction and engine management.

Here as well, hopefully should be making a new thread in a few weeks about some secret of mine... its nothing that big really...

I think that as time progresses, you'll see newbies like me picking up the car and getting more excited. When it first came out, there were relatively few cars to make it into all the hands out there. 2nd, the price was a little too steep for many of the average 16 - 24 year old enthusiasts who more frequently spend every waking hour on boards and the 'net. Not to forget the middle-agers and senior citizens (ha ... just kidding with ya) who make equally valuable contributions.

It's like with my MkII ('91 - '95) MR2, the "target market" of people willing to spend upwards of $20k on a 2-seat sports car kept most younger enthusiasts sidelined. As depreciation has lowered the price over time, you see more and more younger (and older) enthusiasts purchasing, modifying, and chatting about their MR2s.

Then again, the MP3, as excellent as it is, is still a Mazda (and not a RX) and ... well, I think we're just beginning to see the tide shift from the Honda/Acura camp. Another theory is that the warmer spring/early summer weather means that more people actually spend their time outside and driving their cars :D I appreciate this community anyway and all the help you have and will contribute.

Yeah. I'm still here on and off. But as you can see from my post count, I am not a very frequent poster, even though I've been around longer than a good number of board members here. I guess the MSP did help phasing out the MP3s, as owners selling/trade in their MP3s for the MSP. And even MSPs are disappearing from the market now...guess our car IS getting old. But I love my yellow MP3 just as much. Still think its the best looking car that I can afford to own, and has the best combination of color, aesthetic details, and uniqueness out of all Proteges for my taste. :)

By the way, really appreciate this community as I really learned a lot about my car from cool guys & gals around.

I like to think we are better than those MSP geeks because we actually leave the mp3 section to post something about performance or FI. We don't post every goddamned idea that pops in our heads in the MP3 section.

They have gotten a lot better though.
