If you want to help then go buy yourself a 626 mani, do your work to it, dyno it and then report back. Until then shut the hell up.azian6er said:me either, but i do have a problem with people pawning things off as custom if they entirely arent. Im trying to help the protege guys who dont want to spend 550 dollars on something they "may" be able to get fro much much cheaper.

Why the hell do you think people pay 50 bucks for a manual boost controller or even over 100 for the Hallman's when they can build basically the same damn thing themselves for anywhere from 10-20 bucks at Home Depot? Because they want a product and the knoweldge backed by someone else... the gains were shown in the dyno.... the manifold does something... what it is.. where it comes from is up to the vendor. The vendor is providing a solution to the community that yields a certain amount of gain and it is shown to do so. It is "bolt-on" by their saying and it will work... past that what it is or where it is doesn't matter. If it's a 626 mani then let someone go find their own 626 mani and put it on their cars... do it for whatever cost they want and go on their merry little way... but for those that just want to buy a manifold.. Street Unit is providing a manifold with dynos... what it is or where it is doesn't matter one bit...
And as I said.. if it has one single change to it.. even if it is changing a bolt hole, or sanding a flange... it is in the legal sense of the term "custom" and he can call it whatever he wants... he's importing it, he's buying it.. it's HIS manifold and he can sell it for whatever he wants... if you are so sure it is a 626 mani go buy one, dyno prove it... and sell it at whatever markup makes you happy... But stop ******* with the man's business... all of us vendors bust our asses to make you guys happy and to bring stuff to you whether it is custom, or just something we have the knoweldge to bring to you guys that the average joe doesn't... but that's business..
