S&M no....I mean B&M

Ive been dating mine since we were fourteen, we just had our tenth anniversary, I guess Im lucky too, because ten years, no wedding ring and still going strong, Ive been getting big time marriage pressure from everybody but her, she's pretty cool about it

Oh great, now I feel guilty about hiding the car parts I just bought!

Finally got installed today, WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS! I didnt put enough grease on the first time to get the shifter body in the hole, so by the time I got it out and regreased it etc, the oring expanded from the lube. I was about to stick a shotgun in my mouth and end the install misery when all of a suddden, CLUNK it when in.

And it was worth it, shifts are stiff but precise and the shortened throw is very noticable.

Question, how tight did most guys do the bolt under the car??

I just made sure mine was secure, with out the torque wrench. You dont need to kill it.

Until it locked, it's a shoulder screw so you can't overdo it.

How long did it take you, from setup to cleanup? Like I said before, getting it to go down in position was the toughest for me too.

But it's much better now ain't it?

The whole install took me about an hour...

as for tightening the bolt....Just tighened it back up using the lock washer...and made it as tight as it was from the factory....no didn't torque it...didn't need to.
