This is more a question for a friend of mine that bought an auto RX-8 he's looking for performance options. But it really looks like his eight is limited to I/H/E the on forced induction available is the from greddy and the turbo is for the manauls. I recommended the univeral power fixer that powers my little toyota... nitrous. Safe reliable fun (when used responsibly) post-1-1047683473.gif
But he's scared to death of the stuff. So being a familiar with the world of alternative performance mods I recommened the following alternative http://www.boosthead.com/home.php So what do you guys think? Can the automatic RX-8's engine and tranny take about 5psi.
For those of you who aren't familiar that's a centrifugal (he also has a roots type) supercharger connected to three powerful electric motors. The setup has to be run with four aditional batteries that drain quick. Think of the system as an alternative to nitrous oxide. Basically a turbo system in bursts. This system works (i've seen it on a car at the track). The ESC came out in Turbo Magazine too

So do you guys think we could make it work?
