Ive been a mustang guy but had a family as well as live in toledo (didnt have traction control but I here its pathetic on mustangs anyway; no stability control even offered). I had her for 3 years before getting a new 04 Mazda3 S hatch which i loved.

Anyway, I traded it for a mazda5 to make life easier for the wife and kid and I got stuck with her 05 3i....which I despise after having an S hatch....long story short: I want a sports car that I can drive in these crappy toledo weather...which seams to me I can either get a used (under 20k miles) RX8 or an almost new mustang (under 9k miles) for about the same price.

Im debating on picking up a lower mileage rx8

but I have questions as far as mileage is concerned, are they reliable up to 100k, since it has very few moving parts, what are the common problems,
Stability control is a godsend considering my non abs no tc background in a solid axle mustang, is it decent in the snow?

Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Please DO NOT post links to other Online Mazda communities.

It is not healthy for the Mazda Forums community to send our members to other Mazda communities. This is a serious problem, especially in new member threads. We must put more effort into developing OUR OWN content and support structure. This is an important rule that allows us to maintain quality and security for our Mazda Forums members.

NOTE: The Moderator Team will be on the look out for links to other Online Mazda communities. They are authorized to edit these links.

Instead of posting links you can...

- Copy and paste information (with credit to the author)

- Post your own original version here of a related topic from another site

(attn) - Provide your own answers to member questions instead of (without) linking to answers on another site

- Start GB's here instead of telling members to support another site's GB

I realize some of you are members on other Mazda sites and that is fine. I ask that you respect this rule and help preserve our own Mazda Forums community!

I need everyone's support on this, Thank you!
