RX-8 rims on ebay...just fyi

i dont know why i do it, but i tend to bifd too early and then get outbid and dont feel like spending more, i didnt know if id wake up in time tomorrow to bid on the rx-8 wheels on ebay so i put a bid in a $400 hopeing it would be high enough to win, but then i check and i got outbid already, i bet if i would of woke up early and bid at the last minute, i could of won at a low price, now im debating weather i should go higher or just buy gunmetal grey polished lip wheels like planned on getting in the 1st place. Since im going for the white blacked out look, should i just forget the rx-8s and go with the gunmetal??

I'd say it depends on how much you really want these...right now they'd be selling for just an "average" price I guess...you could try bidding at the last second if you wanted to. If you do, try bidding with a weird number, like $452.52. You never know what the other person's max bid is...could be $451.51 because they're trying to beat someone who put $450 down as their max bid.

Either that or just find some non-mazda brand rims...those might fit better with the look you're going for anyway...? (dunno)

haha thats my car! yesss. anyways, 500+ for those rims seems like a lot, I'v seen them go for much less on RX-8 forums. As for the rim being wider than the tire, with the tire size you have to use with those wheels it will stick through no matter what. My khumo's are the same way.

that price doesn't seem so bad since the tires are included. i'm not sure though. i really want this to be one of my upgrades to my new p5 but i am not a fan of spending hundreds of dollars that could be spent on a flat screen tv/house/dr.pepper on hunks of metal. so yeah. thoughts?

I believe another member on the forums has his rx-8 rims for sale. His screenname is FrolessWonder. send him a PM. I think he quoted $500 shipped on another thread. not sure if it includes tires or just rims...but thought I'd let you know. Kinda funny how your screen name is shaggyhair and his is frolesswonder. Maybe it's fate.

I bought mines here in Puerto Rico for $550 with tires...they are almos like new!!! On Ebay there is one seller that trades your stock color RX-8 rims and exchange them for 4 chrome rx-8 rims and some $$ extra....they look cool. Just throw on the search bar rx-8 rims or wheels and sometimes the query throw back this sellers, they are not all the time on ebay so you need luck to find them...
