Man I showed this to my roommate who has an 88 RX7 Turbo 2 and boy was he pissed. He has over $8000 in his and sad to say but that one for $250 looks better. Great find. I think it may have been just the kick in the nuts he needed to start on the car again.

Yeah, over the years and after owning a few, i've noticed that there is really no rhyme or reason to the pricing on RX-7's. I bought an '82 RX-7 for $500 and it ran great after giving it some TLC. My '91 I bought for $8800 back in 1997 and it only had 30K original miles on it.

I just sold my 10th anniversary RX-7. I would drive that for a couple of days then get into my Protege and wonder when the turbo was going to kick in. It was hard to go from a high reving 13B with a turbo to my Protege. I sold it to pay for my turbo kit for the Protege though. I wasn't sure if it was worth selling a whole car with a turbo already on it just to get a turbo kit for the Protege but I did it anyway. Now I just have to hurry up and wait for the kit!
