Running wire from amp to battery

Hey guys,

I had a few ideas about this. The amp is going to sit in the trunk in it's own vented enclosure. I was planning to run the line from the trunk, along the plastic molding on the passenger side, through a hole on the passenger side, then to the battery. I did see a type of plastic plug on the driver side, near the wiper motor. Not sure if that comes off or not yet, but i'll give it a shot. Any ideas/experiences with running the power cable would be appreciated.

That plug is where i ran my amp power wire through. Very nice looking install just drill a hole and put a gromit around the wire and it looks like it has always been there.

ya i have 4 ga wire run the same way through the gromet that you describe in the firewall.... so it works and install is easy
