So i saw a post on the How-To forum to allow your fogs to run independent of your low beams. The how-to was for the proteges, can anyone post some instructions for the 3? i figured is basically the same but i would like to get the right wires colors and the locations. I am also looking into getting Angel/Demon Eyes and i would like them to work with the fogs

I want this:
-Fog switch functional
-Fogs on with parking lights
-Angel/Demon lights with parking lights
-Fogs on with High Beams

Anyone that can help it would be great.

iirc, there used to be a how to for the independant fog light adaption, and as far as the angel eyes i see no reason why you couldn't wire them up to a normaly open contact with a switch to close it whenever you wanted. that way with the fogs and angel eyes on their own switches you could have any combo of high/low/park you wanted with the fogs and eyes...

i just looked at that thread and i woudl ike to prevent messing with the PJB and voiding the warranty. Someone mentioned there was another way to do the foglight mod.
Anyone knows?

the only other method (which is what most people use) is far from factory looking

just bypass the wires completely from the car and use your own voltage supply with a switch in the dash...if you did it right.. i mean going back and removing the stock wires from their terminals and routed your new wires correctly it wouldn't look to bad.

dude that sounds like a lot of work, plus i want it to look stock, no switches in the dash. Im really on the fence about this. i really REALLY want the DDEs but i still have another 25k miles/3.5 years of warranty left. And i dont want to wait.

not that much really, and you could put in a nice small switch over near the dimmer where there are 3-4 empty switch holders... but if you want to be able to use your already exsisting fog switch... i dunno...
