Rules for bumping?

There is an awful lot of worthless posts on this forum. Some posts that could actually be informative but they get clogged with "bump for updates" and "Subscribble." Many times informative posts can get lost and the same question gets asked a few times. This also keeps people from searching for answers. Why would I want to sift through a 19 page post when half of it is nonsense?

This board needs to set up some rules on bumping posts because it's getting out of hand.

polite bumping is part of proper netiquitte, i try to bump not very often, sometimes a day or two between bumps, but at least a couple hours. one forum i used to post on was 1 bump every 12 hours or your s*** gets locked.

its a pretty good idea, imho, but i am a gay.
