yah those old MR2s are fast, the turbo ones I mean. If he had a turbo one it would be a close race stock to stock. Now that you say it was the older one, I do believe that he could win. The NA MR2s are sad though. Not to mention the new ones. Ugly and slow.

i checked out the 91-95 Mr-2's they have 200hp turbo engine with 200lb-ft torque. So i figured that the MR-2 was gonna win even though i knew that the RSX-Type S shoulda won but the MR-2 had an greddy airnix intake so that helped a bit.

I talked to my friend who owns a 94 Integ GS-R he had obd 2 engine b18a so he could do 140mph. But i told him 2 of my buddy's have GS-R but 96's though and both of them hit 124mph tops the governer blocked it. He said that he probably had a obd 3 b18a engine which is that the lower the obd b18a engine is the better and faster it is. I told him ohh... ok that's new to me plus anyways the 94 integ had intake,exhaust,act street performance clutch,headers, bullfrog throttle body, vtec controller, and pulleys.

Ok triton I have had it. You suck. Listen. OBD II is a computer system that is set up for better fuel efficiency and things like that. It will restrict more power than the OBD I. Also, there is NO GOVERNOR ON AN INTEGRA! I have a 94 LS with an OBD I system and I know that it will go above 124. The GSR will also top 124 easily. The difference is minimal but it is there. You really have no idea what you are talking about. I can't stand how you come on these boards, and talk about top speeds when you have never actually taken the car to it's top speed. The listed top speed on a 94-96 integra is 140 mph. There is no OBD III in any integra. God, please stop these posts. No one on this board likes your posts. You think you know everything but you really don't have any idea what you are talking about. You really do piss me off. You should go buy an integra and test it. You will go over 124.

Look, i have had couple of my friends tell me on there own that there integra gs-r tops out at 124mph and it won't go any faster so i'll take there word for it. No i haven't road in an integra but i doubt a 94 ls integ can do 120+mph, all the time i see them they never go over 110-115mph so i'll take the tops as they go as topspeed not governer but topspeed. I didn't say your 94 ls can't go over 120mph i just doubt that it would cause like i said i never see a regular integra go 120+mph. Anyways my friends topped both of there integra at 124-125mph so there integ's do have governers. If you have any problems with that being so, then i'll let them know you wanna talk to them on the board. That's not my problem that there car fails to do 140mph that you think. I'm not responsible for the integra failing so don't look at me. I'm just laying the smack down so u can get off my back. I posted a statement that a type-s can only top at 133mph i already proved to you it did and u tried to say it can handle 140mph. I just wanna let you know that don't take everything for what it's worth. I do agree with you but people might think i'm an asshole when i have to become one to prove the fact. all i'm saying is that they both topped at 124-125mph that's all. Enjoy your Integra. yeah you should ask them what is wrong with their car. A stock integra will not accelerate quickly after 120 but it will go faster. If they have a governor then that is ****** up because I know integras don't.

I understand bro i know what you mean. I don't know why they do have governer's but yeah there car will only go 124-125mph then the idle drops below 120mph then when they floor it again it'll go 120-121,122,123,124,125mph then all of the sudden the car bogs and you will hear something click and the tachometer idle drops. I think it was cause both of them didn't know how to put intake's on the car. they both disconnected the ecu from the vaf meter that's why there car can't go 130mph but yeah i think they retarted it. Anyways one of them is getting a powerchip soon and they have to be using 91octane gas, But i let you know if the chip helps to acheive 130mph. Props to Acura

wow. theres alot wrong there. 94 integra LS GS RS SE all had B18B engines, B18A is for 2nd gen. integras. like RES mentioned there is no ODBII engines, if its a 94 integra, it has a ODBI ECU, no matter what trim, including B18C GSR engines. the only major differences between 94-95 integras and 96+ integeas ecus (ODBI and ODBII respectivly) are 1: engine knock sensor and 2: emissions standards were upped and honda had to comply. there should be no reason why the car tops out under 130 unless there is something wrong with it. you can drive it as fast as the engine and road will allow.

1: I don't know nothing about Acura's but i know both of my buddy's topped at 124-125mph that's there problem not mine, Or Acura's. But as i remember honda civics have governer's on them at 110-115mph i think that's the speed i'm not sure but around there. Honda/Acura made by the same motor so maybe in away Acura's have governer's on them. there might be different models and vtec and odb1 or odb2 on them whatever you call that stuff. I have raced so many civics and Integra's in my 94 Protege Lx and both of them always will try to play with me. I will be doing 80mph then all of the sudden a civic or integra will fly by at 100+mph. I think one slowed down to stay by my side and looked over and laughed at my 94 Protege lx cause he didn't think it was nothing so as i laughed back at him. I sped up to 100mph slowed down let him get a head start. Then i just drop my gear to 4th till i hit redline as i pull faster catching him at 115mph at redline hit 5th pass him and go 120-125mph slow down wait till he speeds up to my side look at him and lmao so he speeds up and goes way ahead as i catch him again and draft up behind him stay on his ass as he will go only 110-115mph. So acctually they will only go 110-115mph i don't know nothing about all those civic's and integra's but they only go that fast as they try to race me and have there asses handed to them. SO in my opinion i'll take it as Topspeed for the civics and integra's that i race 110-115mph and if there so scared to go 120mph then why do they try to race.

Triton, do you have any pics of this famous 94 Protege LX? How about your MP3? What kind of times are you running in that Protege? You do talk alot of smack and make lots of assumptions. I don't know why you feel the need to race to top speed so often but an integra LS has a higher top speed than an MP3. Your Protege LX may be a different story but the MP3 stock will be beat in the top end by a G3 integra LS. If you have won top end races against them when they stopped at 115 don't assume that is their top speed because it isn't. Perhaps in an auto but my 5 speed will go far above that.

I know InitialRes, I said that the fastest they will only go is 110-115mph so i took that as my Topspeed for them not there's cause that's all they do and i've tooken the MP3 finally to 125mph and yes i have pictures of my Mp3 and 94 Protege Lx i'll post it up soon. If you asked different people about there integra's i bet you they'll say something different as what you are refering to. Yeah your Integra might go faster then 120mph but you have intake, and exhaust so that hepls alittle bit. Just like a few other people on this board already have cai intakes and exhaust on them and hit 130-132mph i can barely do 120-125mph stock in the Mp3.

true intake and exhaust will help a little but when I took my car over 130 I had just intake. You have set a challenge. I am going to find more people with Integras and ask them about their top speed. I should do a poll to get to the bottom of this.

What's the problem with this guy? why you like to topped your car? Is it really fun to drive at 120+? All you have to do is shift into 5th gear and leave you foot on the gas. How can you consider this as a RACE??? Or to WIN someone by going over 120+? It has nothing to do with skill.

I only know a few people with integras. One has a 96 auto SE but he doesn't drive like a maniac so I doubt he has even taken it over 100. I will find people this weekend.
