RS-R Exhausts and Downpipe!

Okay here is the deal I have arranged another aftermarket company, RS-R (JDM Company), to make us exhausts and downpipes.
Their condition is there has to be 20 serious pre sale buyers before it goes to manufacturing. I would arrange the group buy exclusively.
I put on the table if they can make the 3 inch turbo back including the cast section I will gauge the interest on the exhaust and put people down for a list.

Post if you're interested in a RS-R exhaust, downpipe with cast section.

Don't post asking how much b/c that will be after they look at the test vehicle and estimate how much the material will cost.

This is to gauge interest in a 3 inch RS-R exhaust system.
If they cant make a 3 inch I will find another company with the means to do so.

I will arrange for the exhaust and downpipe to be purchased seperately if they can manufacture the entire system in 3 inch diameter.

Just a note JDM Companies parts tend to be a little on the pricier side.

I also need someone near Carson, CA to contact me to be arranged as the test vehicle and with close to stock mods.

"If you are looking at the ExMag, you can expect it to be around $609 MSRP, ExMag GT2 will be approx $589. The earliest I will be available to do a test would be next week."

RS*R makes some good exhausts and shiz...i'm in the same situation as afaceinthecrowd...MONEY ! i'm guessing this system won't have the cats on it since u only mentioned a dp w/ cast section...but for people that r okae w/ that, this would be totally dope 'cause RS*R makes really good exhausts...check out the drift-setup RS*R 350z...really nice

"No problem. The main concern is finding someone to order the exhausts and Downpipe up front. If you are able to pre-pay for the exhausts and downpipes, we would definitely be able to accommodate your request.

The MINIMUM order would be:
20 exhausts
20 downpipes
pre-paid before manufacturing. "

you should get them to make a prototype first and have them make sound clips or video so we can see what it looks like. For that price tho, it's not too bad

that would be a negative. they dont offer any dpipes with cats anyway. oh well ill be setting up more manufacturers to make other stuff. check my turbo xs thread for info.

how much for the dp? man it's all about timing....try closer to christmas and i may have some money saved up by then would anybody like to make a contribution to the "feed the poor college student" fund?

JDM Sam, Be sure to ask RSR about manufacturing and shipping time. most Japan base company will fab the test car in US and send it back to Japan for production, most of the time it will take at least 1-2 month to built and ship to US. We ask GReddy to make Mazda production exhaust for us and we had the same issue except GReddy said it will take up to 4-6 month @ 25 exhausts per order. just a heads up.

Estimated cost for first 20 buyers $425 +shipment for cat back.
If you have the money post here! Needs 20 buyers otherwise RS*R won't make it!

"We can do either GT2 or Exmag. Piping will be 70-80mm depending on specifications.
The ExMag is made from 409 Coated Stainless Steel
The Exmag GT2 muffler is made from 304 stainless with 409 coated stainless steel for piping. The bung hole application will be added.
Again, this is a special order for you only, and we would need you to prepay for all of the exhausts to make this happen. We do not plan to stock any of these exhausts here at the warehouse."

anyways. here is yo numbah hanna. I have been looking into doing a custom setup with an RS*R muffler. I might as well get in on this . Let me know when the money is ude, and to whom. IF it is a US company that is handling the transaction, I would like a reciept, or email with thier info. Thanks JDMSAM.

Wish i could bu i was really looking towards buying an exhaust and dp during my christmas break so i can do some installs, at my dads shop. If they where made already i would def, but two months is alittle to long. Sorry
