Roof Rack

Does Mazda make a roof rack for the Mazda3 like the one I have seen on the Protege? ...or will the Protege roof rack fit the 3?

You can also get a Thule rack, thats what i have.

when i bought mine they didnt have 2 types, only one for Mazda 3.

hahah zoom ruthless! that's weird, i saw a 3 hatch a couple days ago here in CA with a roof rack. I remember seeing an oem roofrack in the catalog but i think that was something around like 400 or some unbelievable price.

WOW!!!! Let me know if you have a link or hardcopy reference on that OEM rack. Thule is an option, but the rack on the P5 looked alot nicer.

you should pm either bagman1 or ken from protegegarage. they should be able to hook you up with the item # if there is one and my memory isnt taking a dump

yeah i only knew they offered it in the UK, and then someone mentioned they had it in Canada as well. It is not available to the US/
the Thule i bought for $350 including fairing (50) and the larger (better) ski clamps. So i think it was a good price.

there is a rack from mazda for the 3, BUT

it's $450US


i have one from thule, that i have yet to get installed, and an item to store on it (more on that when i actually get it)
