Rishie's FITMENT RECIPE

hey does anyone know the stock weight of 03 protege lx wheels. the alloy 5 spoked ones. just by chance. im trying to find a set of wheels i like and want something light weight, but dk the stock alloy weight, so i cant get a better idea on what really is light compared to them.

anyones help is appreciated. thanks

You should be fine since they fit now. The spring perch moves with the wheel so it will clear no matter how low you are.

Hey people,

on a 1.4inch dropped sedan

will a 40mm offset wheel with 205/45/17 tires rub?

I heard it wont but it will be super close to, anyone can confirm?

Thanks Rishie :)

Anyone happen to know the width of the stock P5 tire?

Also, .. Rishie: when you get back in town, can you quote me some prices?

What tires did you end up getting? I'm also looking to get a new set of all season tires and don't plan on changing my stock wheels.

i have stock suspension on my 2000 lx. i would like to run 215/40/R17. will they work or will it rub?

Is this for your sport 20? You would need some widebody action going on in the rear to get that 8.5" rim in there! I have 18x7.5's 50mm offset with 215/35/18" with about .200" clearance to the coilover and .200" to the fender.

Switch it up... put the bigger rims up front. Sure, it won't look as cool, but it will be better for performance. And have a better chance of fitting. Odds are it won't fit that well though :D

Also, ARD are you still around? I may be contacting you about getting some 16x7 Enkei RPF1s in the near future...

225 45 15 nt01s 45 off set????

How low, and how much spring rate? I run 225/50/15 Kumho V700s for autocross, on 15x7 +40 wheels with 3mm spacers (so +37 effectively) and get minimal rubbing in the near. Slightly lower on JIC FLTA1s. My rear fenders are rolled though.
