Rims for Stock 215/45R18

I have a 2008 MS3. I bought winter tires which I mounted on the stock 18 rims.

With the warm season coming I need to get new rims for the stock 225/45R18 tires. Does anyone know if I can use a 7.5" width rim or do I need a 7"?

Any recommendations on comparable rims without having to sell my kidneys?

Thanks-

people have run an 8 inch rim with the stock "215" 45 tire... stock size is not 225 45

so 7, 7.5 or 8 would be fine with the stock 215 45 18

As stated the stock tire size is 215/45. The manufacturer suggest it be used on a 7-8" wide wheel. I have used the stock Potenzas on a 7" wheel, 7.5" wheel and 2 8" wheels. It is a very slight stretch on the 8 inch wheel but not enough to be concerned with.

If the tires are not 215s, then 7 1/2" or 8" might be better. I have 225/45s on 18x8s

Just look at my side-wall again... you guys are right. Thanks for the clarification. Any thoughts on this?

If you're looking for quality at a decent price I would look at Enkei's new line. To me wheels are not something you want to sacrifice quality to save a few bucks on so I would stick with a reputable manufacturer that has a history as opposed to a company that has been in business for 4-5 years. Just my opinion however.

The description they use is misleading -- they have the 114.3 spacing as well as 100? The numbers are kinda squished together. The wheel look a bit busy to me, but dey ain't gonna be mine no way anywho. The price is pretty good for a new wheel. What do they weigh?
