ok. i've had these pics for a while now. i've just been holding out on you guys. (laugh) if you want more info on these just post.

ok first up is the MS-01S. the MS-01S is a forged one piece wheel. some of the series will clear the big brakes of the RX-7 RS and RZ. this wheel comes in either white or bronze:

next is the MS-01MAG. this is special becuase it is made of magnesium. it has a slightly different look from the MS-01S. again, made of forged magnesium. comes in gold only:

the third and last wheel from mazdaspeed is the MSTouring. this is a cast one piece wheel. only comes in gold:

i've also got some approx pricing, but i can't make it out as my spec sheet is in japanese and i don't know which is for the wheels or for the options that come on them.

corksport sells them...they're in the same price range as volks are. Most of em from what i remember looking at only come in 15 and 16" sizes though from corksport.

yeah i saw that. didn't know rays made them. a buddy of mine got back from japan and gave me a brochure(?) about those rims. just thought they were interesting. my thing has sizing tables for all those wheels and they do come in 17"

Heh Heh Heh, And my buddy lives RIGHT around the corner from Makin industries, the importers of Rays. :D (sniff sniff, I smell MSP rims. :D )

OK, here's the catch, you can pull the MS-O1S off if you're willing to rock a 16 inch wheel. Unfortunatley, if you want a 17 inch on your P5 or Protege Sedan, you won't be able to roll em because the only come in a +40 offset. You can maybe pull it off on a barely lowered Sedan, but definately not on a P5.

Next up we have the MS-01MAG and those definately won't fit unless you modify you fenderwells. The smallest they come in is a 18x8.5 at a +40 offset. I'm not saying it's not possibly, but it will be a task to fit them. Not to mention the selling price of a Magnesium wheel (usually about $960 a piece)

Last but not least is the MS-Touring and that wheel will work in all sizes for the Protege Sedan and P5. 17x7 in a +42 offset which will work fine, but mainly with a 205/40. If you took a step up to the 215/40, you might run into rubbing issues on P5's.

Out of all of these wheels, the MS-01S in Bronze is my favorite and if I had a P5, I would definately consider buying them in a 16 in with some Advan Neova AD07's of course...Gotta love JDM style

if youre gonna spend that much i would go for a set of volk te37s...my favorite rim

Almost every high quality japanese wheel that is forged, is forged by Rays Engineering...and they are all expensive...Like Razor said if you are going to spend the money on forged wheels from Rays you can also look into Volk's line-up, they are the same quality (A friend of mine has a 240SX S-14 with a J-spec SR20DET swap and a bronze set of the TE37's, highest quality wheels I have ever seen, and luckily they are ridiculously cheap at about $700 a wheel...that was sarcasm...) between each brand that markets them

IMO the MSP 5-spoke wheels are my favorite, and If I could I would buy those...

Rays forges wheels for:
Volk
Nismo
Mazdaspeed
I vaguely remember Mugen
and a few others...

Not Mugen .. but Sti and TRD.

Oh and about those Mazdaspeed wheels .. welcome to c.1998 ;)

Since they're not "officially licensed" for sale in North America, Corksport or another shop that imports direct from Japan is your only hope.

united arrows

what about the rays united arrows?? i like em:) -Cheesie
