Rim swap?

I'm off from work tomorrow and I'm highly considering putting my stock rims back on with the summer tires. The forecast doesn't dip below 45 degrees for a high for the next week. Would it be too premature? I am itching. Anyone else made the transition? I'm sick of my ugly ass steelies.

I think it's time. Today's officially spring! I doubt theres gonna be any big storms or anything...even if there was, you'd know ahead of time so that you can put steelies back on

I'm doing it then. It's hard to drive a nice handling car with huge sidewalled squishy tires that make the car feel like a Lincoln towncar. But because I'm doing it we will see another little snowstorm I bet.

I would do it too... I was going to pull my car out of storage today but Amsoil shipped me the wrong tranny oil....

Oh well it should be out in a few days....:)

Those dumbasses. Oh well you have more patience then I would ever have dealing with all the building of your motor processes. Whats your schedule looking like for meeting up? That's too bad you couldn't have brought your car. Maybe we won't meet until you have the right tranny fluid anyways.

Not sure at this point... I will see what happens tomorrow, if I have time I will give you a call. I can always meet you in the Focus:)

I put my summer wheels on Saturday afternoon. I think we're in the clear.

My snows are coming off tonight...I can't wait! I think we're in the clear with no more significant snow. I have roadtrips the next two weekends - perfect timing to ditch the snow tires.

Also, I plan on waxing my summer wheels before putting them back on. Hopefully it will make them easier to keep clean.

Well I should have the right tranny fluid today... I should have my car out on the next nice day... It looks like it will be decent tomorrow... Hooray...(yippy)

I hate to rain on your parade (LOL), but I think it's gonna rain tomorrow. I think you'll definately be good to go Fri or this weekend though!

I did the swap today. The car looks great. I had to take it to goodyear to do it though since the winter rims were pretty much welded to the hubs. It was only 18 bucks and I didn't get my hands dirty.

Yep.... pulled mine out last weekend. Waxed it yesterday... needless to say i spent $80 at checker on car cleaning stuff... ha ha ha.
