Right/Passenger Speakers 'Stop' working on CD Mode

I have a 2004 Mazda 6 Wagon V6.
My problem is that when playing a CD for a while (its the 6 CD changer with Bose speakers), the right/passenger speakers stop working. Going back to radio is fine - all speakers work. Swapping to any other CD once this issue happens does not help. Nether does ejected CDs.

On the next drive, it is back to normal again.

Anybody have a similar experience?

Interesting bug. There is probably a loose connection between the cd player module and the head unit. The factory radio is modular so you can try disassembling and reassembling to see if that helps. Otherwise, you should start searching eBay for a replacement Bose head unit.

The good news is that you have ruled out any problem with the amplifier and speakers by checking to see that the radio works fine.
