reverse gear

has anyone had problems putting the rx8 into reverse, I have had problems since i got the car and i was wondering if its the car or me i dont have problems with any other gear so would adjusting the clutch make a difference, also does the rx8 have a hydralic clutch and howq does one adjust it its like every other time I try for reverse i get 5thor is it 6th(shocked)

what do you mean trouble, push the gear lever down and then into R, ive never had any problems with it. The RX8 has a push type clutch I belive.

Before adjusting, try this:
1. With the car parked motionless and clutch depressed, put it in gear....any gear.
2. Now take it out of gear but leave the clutch depressed.
3. Wait a few seconds and put it back into gear. if it doesn't grind and goes in back into the SAME gear smoothly, the adjustment is probably OK.

everything is ok , if I remember to push it down before putting it in reverse

My MP3 will give me a little trouble when putting in reverse. I've found that releasing the E-brake and giving the engine a little rev will pop it right in there.
