Update:

just got a bit of an update for y'all: (courtesy of rubicon)

1. the vent mesh is black. (of course it can be left silver) the flash made it look silvery in this pic. the mesh is also continuous at the back
2. the vent supports are 2 now not 1. (i think 1 will still be an option, but 2 is just a more structurally better idea.)

Above two items lends support to a even better structure.

We also have a couple ideas to bring to Marc. If they turn out you will all be quite satisfied i think

Thanks (thumb), they are actually knock off Rota Subzeros, they weigh the same and pretty much look the same, but are cheaper. They are RS Limited Concept Pro's in graphite.

lol... he's working on it.

rubicon and myself took some new pics tonight.. i prolly won't post them till the g/b thread. but they look nice and the new hood IS better. more finished frame underneath and the vent mesh is much much cleaner. the 2 supports makes it much more sturdy.. and from what we figure there's about 1/4" clearance to the hiboost intake.
