Resonator deletion

Finally found a place to remove the first resonator for a reasonable price ($40). I've got the factory downpipe, racepipe, 1st resonator removed, 2nd resonator and muffler. I'm pleased with the way it sounds and thanks to all you guys who've done it before, there was no guessing on how it was going to sound. This will keep me from dumping big money on a CBE...for now anyway. I still want to hear a Racingbeat exhaust with racepipe.

when you're neighbor finds your #3 rod in their driveway, let me know; i'll buy that AP off of you.

When are you getting yours cut out?

LOL!! I have to here it in person before I decide. Is the drone still there at cruise, or is it better now?

I like the sound of your exhaust Wiggum! I had one resonator removed, wanted to still remain somewhat stealthy.

There definitely is a pretty loud drone when engine braking around 3k RPM with a test pipe and 1 res removed. I'm sure it could probably be tuned out with an actual muffler, but it's not such a big deal to me that I want to start experimenting with different mufflers.

If anyone else finds a good muffler that removes the drone but keeps the raspy growl, let me know.

You have a good sound but your not in 3inchs...it's not ricy to erase the catalytic for the sound and stay with stock pipe?

all 3 of mine are off and i love the sounds im still in the thought process of a DP though

i also have all 3 removed (2 resonators and muffler) and love the way it sounds. i however still have all the smog equipment and stock DP. i think it would be much louder and more annoying to have a straight pipe from the turbo back
