Replica wheels, why buy them?

its all about personal prefrence. Alot of honda guys use Rotas because you can get a set of 16's for like $450 as aposed to around $400 a wheel for the regamaster black or blue (spoon wheels) Now me I could give a s*** less as long as they looked good and where light weight. 450 vs 1200, u decide.

just my $0.02...i've got a set of 17" konig blatant wheels, and i couldn't be happier. they're light enough so that i don't notice any difference from the 16" stockies, they seem to be well made, they have a fantastic finish, and they look great (i get lots of positive comments by random people). sure i could have spent a few hundred dollars more to get wheels with a "better" brand name, but at this point, i can't see a reason why i would do that.

there was a nice article about import tuner. why it is better to buy a brand and spend more on a company that knows wth it is doing. forged, three piece, the steps taken to make the rim, etc. are all explaned and very interesting. you dont want your rim to crack because of a simple pothole now do u? hehe peace - chris
