Replacing Front Mesh Grill?

i have the 04 mz3 with the black plastic mesh grill i was wonder what you guys would think of replacing it with somthing like gutter guard...i mean not really gutter guard the the mesh grill thats similar to gutter guard i hope you guys get the idea how would this look?

IMO the 04 grills are the worst looking of the bunch. gutter guard works but looks kinda ghetto in this day and age. Just search for different types of bendable material you can use. Id use chicken wire cause I like pentagons.

well its not the upper grill im concernd about since i have the 5dr its the lower and i really dont think that the lower one in black plastic looks all that great i know apc makes a mesh grill that looks like gutter guard and thats what i wanna put in its place is something similar just to get rid of that plastic junk....ive even thought of just painting it the same color as the car if i decide to keep the plastic one in....

that would be the way to go, paint it black. Try it, you may be on to something.
