I made the mistake of using a higher gauge of wire to connect to the negative side of my battery which eventually lead to melted wires in my engine wiring harness and eventually my car died completely. I replaced my battery with a brand new Optima, replaced the battery cable, and replaced the entire harness. The used harness was purchased from Focus and came from a Canadian MSP. At this point, the car wouldn't turn over. I towed the car to get it diagnosed and the guys said they couldn't trace a signal coming out of the ECU. So I bought a flashed ECU from SpicyorangeMSP. Now the car still won't turn over. I have full power and the engine continuously cranks, no problem. I double checked all wiring connections. Also, the spark plugs were replaced. It simply won't turn over. When I turn the key I don't hear clicking so I don't think it's the starter. BTW, my MSP is still fairly new, ~25K miles. Anyone got some ideas?
