Wow thats sexy!!

*save as...:)*

That's a great looking combo, I need to learn how to paint. I found out it will cost what I paid for the wheels to have them repainted professionally :(

What did you use to paint them? I'm probably going to powercoate my 16"s, but if painting is better/cheaper, I'll go that route.

looks sick...its wierd though i was about to paint my mp3 rims as well. they are sheding on me like crazy. what did u do? just wet sand them down then go over with a few light coats of paint and then a clear?

I just used scotch brite and MEK. Ya the scotch brite just scratches the paint while the MEK just eats all the way through the clear coat and paint leaving a super smooth and clean surface. Be careful when u use though, use gloves a mask and goggles. It will burn your eyes right out. Ya it only took me 15 min per rim to prep.

Those look nice, could you take some pictures closer up? and how did you fill in the chipped spots? I would love to do this to my car.

its duplicolor wheel spray paint. they sell a couple colors, if you dont like the colors you can always use regular spray paint. i used some highgloss black when i had em black.

Here is a close up on one of the rims, this one had a lot of paint comin off already. Anyway, to get it even, like i said, i just used MEK, its a clear chemical just like acetone. Really strong so wear gloves when using it. But ya it ate the paint and clear coat and just had to rub it in the grooves i made with the scotch brite. But ya the color I used was duplicolor, graphite.

Even though it says you don't have to add clear coat, they do have a duplicolor clear coat made for wheels, and thats what I used. I only bought a bottle of paint and clear coat for a total of 13.00
