removing a/c

ok so got a p5 and the a/c sucks so when i replace the belts i want to just bypass it for now. just wondering what belts i need, in michigan so i got napa, autozone, and advanced auto. thanks alot guys

You'd need a belt for a protege without a/c. Apparently there is such a belt, and it can be bought over the counter.

Why not just get the system charged? That may be the problem.

im aure that is the problem but always been more of a windows down guy instead of a/c. so i figure ill just bypass it till i sell it down the line and just replace the belt then. thanks
