Yes....I believed that he was the first to reply to my first post. Get well man!

And many others...It's really unfortunate to hear about this...Sir Nuke means a lot to me and this community...He's a great guy who really made a positive impact here...Tell him to get better soon and visit us here...He's always welcome...we miss his welcome posts!

I'm so sorry about your accident Sir Nuke. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery and look forward to reading your posts once again on the Forum.

Anyone happen to know if there's a mod or part that Sir Nuke has been itching to get his hands on? Maybe we can set up a "Get Well Nuke" Fund similar to what was done for T3ase ?

Sucks man, hope you get better, and get back here, and stay away from those bikes, 4 wheels is the way to go. Get better pronto

It happened on May 20th.

That sucks, he use to give all new members the welcome post of where the fridge is and such :(

btw did this happen around the 5th? Just asking cause a member on another forum of mine was recently in a bike accident to and wondering if it is the same person.

Wow that sucks, I would say Sir nuke welcomed me but I joined before he did!!! I may have welcomed him :) I defenitly remember all the advice and welcomings. I posted serveral times to newbies that Sir nuke would be along soon for a formal greeting. Get well soon. Look forward to hearing from you.

(Get well soon Sir Nuke and soon we can) Welcome (you back) to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

holy s***..... I'm glad he's ok... I haven't seen him around for over a year... I figured he's been crazy busy with work too

anyone has his phone #? I want to call him and give him my regards... I used to talk to him on a regular basis... back when we all worked on protegeclub

Get Well Soon SirNuke! You've given me good advice on a number of occasions, all very much appreciated. All I can offer you in exchange are well wishes in your speedy zoom-zoom recovery!

He won't be home for another 3 to 6 weeks, he's in a rehab center at the moment. His wife will print all the messages and wishes posted here. I'm quite sure he will thank everyone once he's back in front of his computer.

Keep the good words coming, he really needs them.

Many thanks to all for the great response.

Joe,

It's Jesse Naughton. Just heard about this, and had to come over to the site and see what's up. Glad to hear you're doing better, and that the rehab is going well. Definately glad to know the sense of humor is still there. You get better and keep everyone posted. Maybe stick to building the air cooled VW stuff with 4 wheels this time around? Say hi to the family for me. Take care Joe,

Jesse Naughton

Just like Edwin said, haven't talked to Joe regularly since ProtegeClub.

Joe, seems they just can't keep you down, from buzzards to semi's. :) I'm glad to hear you're doing alright. Get better man!

Get well soon. Super nice guy, I still remember when I started going on these boards and he answered a few of my noob questions.

Hope to see you back on the boards as soon as possible. You're an asset to the community.

Latest news on Sir_Nuke

This is the latest on Joe's health, sent by his wife.

"He is doing much better and only gets better daily. I see the strength to his right side improving. He's not as wobbly as he was 3 days ago even! He is talking more and with the exception of a few words is doing very well. The therapists have all remarked on what a great job he's doing. I'm so very thankful to God and so very proud of Joe."

I will keep updating this so the thread can stay "alive" until Joe can see it and give a chance to all who know him to read it.

Many thanks for your good words.
