Recomendations on where to buy H&R springs?

Well over a week ago I ordered a set of H&R springs for my car from a well known vendor who shall remain nameless (since the mods frown on us mentioning their name) and to this day they still can't seem to process the order. They sent me an email about there being a problem confirming my address for the charge. My bank told me there were no issues and they already took the money out of my account, but the vendor never took the funds. I left them a couple of messages after talking to them initially, but never heard back from them. I finally got a living breathing person yesterday who said it would be taken care of today... which it was not. I'm now running really short on time to get the springs and have them installed before I have to drive up to Tahoe. Any help on where I can get a set of these on short notice would be greatly appreciated.

looking for something that may possibly fit my needs and time frame a little better. The nameless vendor (read: SU) is out of the running based on how poorly they have handled this whole situation and PG is midwest based (unless they have them drop shipped from somewhere out west possibly) as well as about $30 more than almost every other vendor for the springs. Tirerack has them for $230, but they have a distribution center here in Nevada so I would have to pay both tax and shipping which still takes forever for them to process (and time is running short). What I'm looking for is a vendor that can get my springs to my before next wednesday without upping the cost so much that it feels like I payed for AutoExe springs instead.

Funny you say that, I ordered from SU for these last week and they will be here tomorrow. They were, however, being shipped from H&R directly, not from SU themselves. These were shipped from WA actually.

With that said, I know Ken sells them, and he should price match SU for those. See what he can do for ya.

Thanks for the suggestion, wish I would have just called Ken to begin with. I will be calling him tomorrow after I get off the phone with SU to make sure that they don't have a change of heart and decide to finally process my order. It would be understandable having them ignore me if I was a problem customer, or making unreasonable demands, but to completely ignore me and my order after tossing it in my lap to take care of the problem just stumps me. I guess not every vendor is interested in making money by actually selling stuff to their customers (stooges).

I've had good luck with both companies. When it comes to SU, I only deal with Mark. Usually if I call him directly, he'll get the parts out same day and have me set up. This time, it took nearly 2 days for H&R to process my order.

Hopefully it all works out in your favor and you get your springs. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Both PG and SU ship straight from H&R. And they take forever. If you want H&R's you will just have to wait on them. It took mine about a 10 days to get to Alabama, but for H&R's it's well worth it. Just my .02.

Well, mine came today, and for whatever reason, they sent me the wrong springs. I checked on H&R's website, and the regular 6 springs are part # 29311, while the MS6 springs are part # 52611. Make sure you get the correct springs before you install them!

EDIT - Called H&R to verify. The box says 52611, springs say 29311. Speaking to the rep, she told me that the front springs have a white mark and rears will have a yellow mark to designate they are for the speed6. All is well now.

I also read we don't need to cut bumpstops on the MS6. There's a paper that comes with the springs that specifies any additional work you may have to do and the applicable models.

Canceled the order with SU and decided to order from tirerack since they have them in stock instead of having them shipped from H&R. I decided to go this route since I need new tires also and was able to order them at the same time. Everything is supposed to show up on wednesday since it's all shipping from just upstate. Hopefully everything works out this time.

Installed mine today, took about 2.5 hours and needed the spring compressor for the front. I'll have more info to post later tonight.

Everything should be here by this Wednesday and I'm hoping to have them on this weekend. Let me know if there were any differences in the install than there was for the Mazdaspeed springs how-to.

Install was extremely straightforward. If you've got a how-to, it should be really easy. Only part that slowed me down was the spring compressor that I used. removing parts from the car to get access to the springs themselves was a piece of cake. Keep in mind, this was my first spring install as well.
