Rear window wiper

I cant get the old one off, to get the new one on! My friend couldnt either and neither can the guys at autozone, or advanced auto.. Biggest pain in the butt!! Please help, pics helpful also

Don't know if you figured this out yet but since I drove my CX-7 to work today instead of my MS3, here it is:

Remove the center cover piece so you can lift up the wiper.

Remove the wiper by just lifting the bottom part of the wiper out, don't be afraid, it won't break, it will just pop out. Once it popped, just lift it straight up to remove it.

I just removed the whole arm. Much easier.
