Rear tire ware

I was at a Mazda P5 customer review website and some one posted this,
"Watch out after 17000 miles! Rear alignment is severly off on my MP5. Both rear tires went flat on the same day with extreme ware on the interior of each - beyond the steel belts. Almost completely new tread on the outer part. Front tires are still in good shape. I have never seen anything like it!"
Did anyone notice this on there cars too?

I usually drive with about a 3 or 4 inch drop with the P5. I already have 9,435 miles and all 4 of my tires look fine. Whoever got bald back tires at 17,000 miles must have some kind of problem with the car.

Well I've noticed that the center section of our tires.....there is kind of a strip of tread that is seprated from the sides, and that part that used to be on the front (now on the back because I rotated them) is TOTALY bald. There is no tread to speak of. The rest of the tire is ok, with some rubbing on the top of the side wall. I would think this is from over inflation, cause that wears the middle the fastest. But I always check my tire pressure. It's all very confuseing.
