Rear Motor Mount for MS6

Looking back, I would probably go with that AWR 70 duro over the SU one that I have now, but at least I have some improvement over stock.

I've got the CPE mount. The only time I feel an increased vibration is at idle with the A/C on. Besides that no different than stock. Well except that the nice solid clunk I'd get when shifting quickly under power is much reduced.

Anyone notice that when installing the mount, that the front triangle portion on the motor bent in when tightening the bolt?

Hard to see in the attached picture.

i did not have that problem with awr bending that triangular bracket. in fact if fits quite snug.

i started out with just the awr 70 duro mount. and though it helped, it did not reduce drivetrain lash enough for me. after a few hundred miles, vibes were nearly none existent. i still had severe bang in 1st to 2nd gear when driving hard.

not till i added the tranny side mount (awr 70 duro) did things feel locked down. the vibes are there but not annoying enough to put up with the stock mount floppy-ness.
i've never been stopped at a red light and had a passenger look at me like, 'wtf dude'.

awr stuff is the best deal imho. i'm tempted to pick up there passenger side mount. but its the most moola, at over 180.

the best way i like to put it. is, after you have it on for a while, you start to wish you would have got it a long time ago.

I pull up behind people at night and see my headlights vibrating "violently." imma get me some AWR 70 duroz. I question the "performance gains" from high intensity mounts.

Which stock mount seems to be the most problematic, as in, which, once replaced, has the best returns on investment?

give it some time to settle.

as far as biggest returns, best performance. people on here praise the turbine tech front motor mount. i'm surprised no one said anything about it. its expensive but those who have it say its worth it.

keep in mind, this car has two mounts for lateral motion and only one for longitudinal motion. the turbine tech mount adds an additional mount to the front cross member. increasing your to mount count to 4. two front to back. two side to side.

I have the same problem. Something must of happened and they (su) made the internal metal ring of the mount not wide enough, or shipped out too narrow of a washer... I plan on upgrading to a cp-e mount in the future so I can replace that metal triangle that mounts onto the engine.

The CP-E mount does the same thing. It's nothing to worry about either way though, both conceptually and in-practice.
