rear defrost issues

Soooo. I removed the stock little 8" sub setup and built my own system. After doing this i do not have rear defrost. the little black box that controls it also had the factory amp wiring going through it. Now that its cold I would love to have the rear defrost again lol. do I just need to run a 12v power supply to the box and if so where do I provide power to it. Doesnt really look like there is a spot to hook any wire to it.

That's weird, I have aftermarket amp wiring and my rear defrost still works.

Idk what it is then but after removing all the factory units I lost it. Let me ask you this. Is you little black box grounded? Idk what's going on.
