Rear Bumper Replacement

As with most people, I'm not too awake at 7 in the morning. That said, I was backing out of my stall at McDonalds from getting some "breakfast", when I hit a landscape trailer. It wasn't my fault that the trailer was half-way out of the stall, but anyway, I tapped it.

Now my bumper is all scuffed up. I was wondering if anybody knew if touch-up paint or a new bumper would be better. If a new bumper, how much would that cost?

If it's just scuffed why would you need a new bumper?

You could try to touch it up or get the whole thing painted, probably like $200.

Just to give you an idea, I just had a little mishap(not my fault) and had to get a new front bumper. That cost $215, so I'll bet the rear bumper is about the same. Good luck.

I haven't seen if it actually knocked the bumper loose or not. Now, I gotta figure out where to get it done at...maybe I can just clean it and try to touch it up myself. If that doesn't look good, then I'll have it sanded and stuff. Touch up paint shouldn't be too much.

found him a bumper

hey all ..this is a good example of watching out for each other .. i justy found him a brand new rear bumper already painted for his black mica MP5 for $50.00 !!!!!! woohoo ... lets allstick together and do the same for us ... hehe

yeah I have a got a ton of stock pieces if you guys ever need something, I'd be willing to sell CHEAP. Most tho I doubt anyone will need seeing as they'll just do the mods I have done.

I found 2 small dents on the rear bumper of my car one day, I assume someone hit it softly with their car, the dents from teh screws on the licenseplate. Anyways, it's not scratched, but it's dented in, so I can't jsut get it painted over so I'll proably want a new rear bumper. Now, how much is this hookup for a new rear bumper? :) Can I get one in midnight blue?

Try researching something called "paintless dint removal", you'll be surprised what can be done for pretty cheap.
