Would anyone buy one here if it was made? Carbon fiber ~ 250 and fiberglass ~ 160. I am asking this because I am thinking about doing a production on them. I know you would have to see it to really tell me if its worth the money though. I am just trying to get a feel for how many people would be actually willing to buy one and if there is a market for one.

I know DG motorsports makes one that you install by cutting out the existing black part of the bumper. However, this one will bolt to the bottom of your existing bumper, but you would have to drill maybe 4 small holes on the bottom. You wont see the holes if you were looking at it from the top.

If I get a 3d model of it done soon I will post it.

i would there are pretty much no rear lips made for this car so something to make the rear more aggresive would be nice

i have the front lip and side skirts, I have been waiting for a ******* rear lip, add-ons, or difuser to come out so I can buy one!

I refuse to pay the price for the DG or the re-amemeyia, both are ugly and way overpriced. Something in the $100-200 range would be nice. Something like the fiberglass one showen above on that s2000, except not so low.

yeah our cars look unforutanely similar to a MZ3 hatch from the rear IMO, that would be nice. Maybe you could get out a few different concept/rough draft photos to see what the we like...?

Testing to see if its functional would be pretty hard for a small scale production..

not trying to take this off topic but wouldn't the whole underside of the car need to be flat to make the rear diffuser effective?

Not necessarily

With a rear diffuser you are helping the air underneath the car transition to the air behind the car creating less turbulent air and more downforce, also it helps to stop the parachute affect of the air moving under the car getting caught up in the rear bumper.

Having the entire bottom of the car flat would only help the aerodynamics and the transition of air.

Not like most people would ever see the benefits of any of this as rarely are you performing at speeds where this kind of aero comes into affect.

yeah what is all this talk about functional?

I could only see it being functional if you were trying to set a land speed record or something, they reduce lift and drag. Its not like you are going to shave .5 second off you 1/4 mile time with a diffuser lol

"thank god I have that rear diffuser or i would have lost the race"

please dont make it like that evo and Sti, the last thing i want is a gigantic cheese grader on the back of my car, no offense but those arn't my style.
