rattling?!

my car is making the most annoying rattling sound yet. it sounds like its coming from the top passenger side corner of my rear windshield, but i dont really know obviously cause im driving. it sounds like glass rattling and squeaking, and its getting louder. it sounds like if i hit a bump its just gonna fall out. i already spoke to mazda bout this and they only cover such a thing for the first 12k miles or 1 year. im way passed both, so i was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem and how to fix it? or where i could even go to get it looked at..

hmm i remember someone posting something about this but it was about there front windshield not there back one.. do some searching u might find what ur looking for.. id say take it to the dealer anyways even though its not covered and have it fixed

Do you have a roof rack? My Isuzu Trooper rear passanger window makes this noise whenever the roof rack is loaded. I think it's the glass squeeking against the seal because the roof flexes over bumps. Anyway, that's the only idea I have.

no idea but my gf 6i hatch makes the same noise and comes from the same area. I haven't been ablt to trackit down yet.

mine does it, only seems to do it when i drive the car after a really cold night, after the car warms from sun heat it goes away. some times my car sounds like its about to rattle a part from everywhere, then other times its completely silent..

i've heard its the glass that does this, and i guess its a common problem in teh older non-speeds. i havent seen a fix for it. besides turning the left knob on your radio.

yea thats all ive been able to do is turn up the volume, but it still comes through. so annoying. also, wannabe, i took my car into bullittproof today to have them check out my windows cause i thought the tint on one was messed up, turns out my entire window is loose. awesomeee

nice. is Jon/Dustin able to fix it? it could possibly be warrantable (if you still have warranty)

dustin said he could try but hes tried on other cars and hasnt been able to. jon told me to take it up to the dealer but to make sure they know what theyre doin with it before they start lol
