Rattles in Trunk?

Did any one here every have problems with their trunk area rattling when hitting small bumps or pot holes? It is not from the sub(HAHAHA) it does it with the radio off as well. I tried searching but was not very lucky. just lots of shocks making noise and such.

search for the word thunk and you should have some luck...its a common problem for all of our cars, you can read for days what we have all tried...good luck

In a nutshell MrMP3 almost every owner of the MP3 has had the clunking/thumping sound in the trunk. The reason we joke a lot about it is it has been discussed to death about possible causes/fixes for the issue, yet so far there doesn't seem to be one agreed upon solution.....just a tad frustrating!

Speaking as a moderator, I do appreciate the fact that you did try a search at least first before posting questions...usually with the large community if you try a number of different searches you'll find the answers you're looking for...and if not, don't hesitate to ask.
