Rattle from below the screen and near temp control

The colder weather has brought with it some rattles. I hear a continuous rattle (sounds like two low voltage wires rubbing against each other and sparking) from below the screen and near the climate control knobs. It goes away when I press the area. Comes back again after a while. Happens only when driving and I've noticed it only 3 times and all 3 times it was very cold outside (50F - that's cold by Houston standards)

Have any of you guys experienced this? Any idea what might be causing it?

I have a rattle in that are, but it sounds like is coming from the left A pillar. It is actually, the right corner of the radio's trim bezel(car's trim not the radio's). If I push down on the trim, the sound goes away. Need to take it apart and see what is going on there.

When it starts to happen take your right foot, while it's still on the gas pedal, and slide it all the way to your right up against the plastic/center console area. I had a rattle that I chased for a long time, that always sounded like it was coming from somewhere on the dash or A-pillar. Turns out its the cover to the fuse panel or what ever it is down there. Drive me up the firicken wall!!!

Will do that tomorrow and report back. Did you manage to fix it?

I get a similar rattle, but very intermittently. Seems like something is loose under the shroud/bezel that surrounds the touchscreen. If you place your hand on the flat piece on the bottom in front of the screen, it will go away.

Few things get under my skin like a squeaky/rattling car. Serenity now!

That's exactly what I did 2 days back and the rattle disappeared (temporarily).

Have you managed to fix yours for good?

Hi- its only happened twice, and like you, on a cold day. And I figure it happens so infrequently that I will have no way to demonstrate it to the dealer. So I'm not sure if its common, or whether they're aware of it being a problem on some vehicles.

I have yet to go in for my first oil-change, but I'm more concerned about the mold/crap in my LED headlight casings than the squeaks/rattles at the moment.

I did this today and it stopped the rattle temporarily. It started again after a while.

Looks like it'll stop temporarily if i press against the panels and trim pieces attached to the infotainment and climate control. It's driving me nuts now.
