So finally made it out to a race, well a track day and then then the next day was a race. On the track day I had one of these huge endlinks twist and move into the tire. It sent me spinning and killed a tire. The tires were going to be done at the end of the day so I didint care, But I moved everything back and then tightened with a slege hammer. I thought super snug would be good for aluminum shocks, but I was wrong. However The tire temps where much more manageable and the car performed great! I will need more seat time to see if I will be changing springs.
MOAR RANT. NOW they (KSport customer service) killed a brand new tire a $200 plus heat cycled tire. Same thing as before. The endlink mounts that are put on the shock body (threaded part that spins to raise and lower the ride level independent of the spring rate) spun once again into the tire. And like I said before they where sledgehammer tight. Traveling at over one hundred mph through the "kink" at road america with a flat tire. I will forever say that they are made for the rice crowd only. ON TOP of shelling out more money to replace my brand new tire I also had to pay a fab shop to weld on the sway mounts where they should have been. So I now hopefully fixed the problem with more of my money rather than their customer service fixing their own mistake.
I asked the guy "is this going to be safe, I mean with rumble strips and hard turns like the kink at road america" I don't think the guy could give a flying s*** about anything except his commission check. So there is no point in trying to get moneys or whatever. Stickers off and rant done. Enjoy this video of me would be placing 3rd in small production behind a Porsche and a Intgra type R.
