Radio is on but there is no sound

While my friend was trying to install an aux cord he screwed up and said there was a pop from the speakers then he said no sound would come out of the radio at all. Is there a way to fix this?

do you have an amp installed or just the HU powering the speakers?

I have check all my fuses and they are all good. As well I have the factory HU, though I am the second owner and I also have a spare tire woofer which I am not sure it that is stock or effects anything.

Everything should be stock.

did you check to make sure that everything is plugged all the way in like it suppose to be?

Yes. Everything is correct.

Sounds like he shorted it internally.

Consider an aftermarket radio to replace it or just buy used/EBay...
