Radio help needed!

Hey All-

I am faced with an interesting situation, I am military stationed in the UK and I purchased a US spec Mazda6 w/the non-Bose system. Luv the car, hate the fact that I can't tune to the local radio stations in the UK. Not sure if you all know this but the US radio stations tune to the odd ending frequencies i.e. 95.5, 97.3, 104.5 while the UK radio stations tune to the even ending frequencies i.e. 96.6, 97.2, 104.6. You can see my delima! Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the US spec AM/FM/6 CD unit to tune to the even ending frequencies?

No, there is no way for me to get to the frequencies. I need to tune to even ending stations. I.E. 96.6 FM To set the presets you first need to tune to required freq. Also, I have tried the auto program option but it will not hit the even ending freq's.

Can you tune to that station with your US spec Mazda radio?

To my knowledge there is no way to make this work because of the way that the tuner is designed...
A work-around might be to get the Ipod / Input adapter from RPM, and get a european MP3 / Radio and input the radio stations from the MP3/Radio through the adapter... that should work, but you would have to change the stations on the MP3/Radio....

Anyone tried this yet? RPM ?
