2016 CX-5
First time poster, wish it was to say hi and how happy I've been with the car...but...

I have a 2016 CX-5 with about 1,000 miles on it. Transmission was just replaced (was slipping going from R to D) and now, twice, my radio presets/favorites have reset for no reason. I get in the car, start it up, and it says "no saved favorites" or something to that effect. I'm running old software, version 51 I think it is, but I wasn't sure if version 55 fixed this. Anyone else experience this issue and can anyone confirm if the software update addresses this issue?

No harm in updating. It is newer... What's holding you back?

I just want to make sure I'm asking for the right thing. Don't want to update to find out later it's still a problem. Car has spent almost as much time in the shop as on the road so not excited to make another trip out but obviously will if this is the fix.

Sorry to hear about the problems. I've been on the forum for about a year and I've seen numerous posts about losing the favorites. Seems that the update fixes the favorites problem. I haven't seen any problems in the last four or five months and I attribute that to the firmware update. I've had mine updated when I had it in for an oil change even
though I didn't experience any problems. Just wanted to be proactive.

This version should fix the problem -- 55.000.753

Good Luck and hope your problems are behind you. Hope Mazda gave you a nice loaner while they fixed the trans.

Thanks, man! This is what I was hoping to hear!
