Radiator Fan Rattle with Intake Install

Sorry I honestly tried searching...

I just installed one of those $35 ebay intakes on my 128k mile p5 and now my radiator fan is rattling as a result of removing the (one of the biggest i've ever seen) stock intake that covered it.

I'm assuming there is a solution other than me ghetto zip tying it?

it all depends.... where did you put your zip ties?
i was annoyed of the rattle so i placed a zip tie horizontally on the 2 post on the rad.
they are hidden and completely solved my rattle problem

i didn't zip tie anything yet. is that the solution? i was wondering if there was another option other than that.

well the fact that it works, its free, its reversible, and completely hidden kinda defeated having to look for another solution.

just zip tie the post right under the bracket... i would take a picture but you cant see it!
