RActive - Opinions Needed...

Anyone had any dealings with this company and their products? They seem to make more parts for the MP5 than anyone I have come across. They have Exhaust, CAI, Short Ram, Altezza's (everyone's favorite ), Brake Upgrades, and a couple other things I can't remember right now. Is any of the "performance" products worth a crap?

I have the Ractive intake and the exhaust. The exhaust is a nice sounding one and the only problem I see is the mounts are not ligned up right

I have the Ractive CAI and she's a beast. Tastefully loud, well constructed and easy to install.

Ractive's quality is actually not bad at all. APC is much worse. Their intakes are nicely polished, and fit well. Their mufflers are decent sounding for the price and good quality. Their light bulbs are especially well made...don't burn out as much as those cheap ass ebay "xenon" bulbs. Their strut bars are a good addition, but aren't the most rigid you can buy, and sometimes need modifiying to fit the brackets up right.

I don't know about their headers or intake manifolds or anything though.l I wouldn't say they are supe awesome quality, but for what they make, the quality is good. for other things it might suck, but i don't have exp in their other stuff like shift knobs, neon tubes, and exhaust manifolds and stuff.

I have the Ractive (Toucan Industries) bolt-on muffler for the P5 (MTP359).
Love the sound. No rust or deterioration after 2 winters in Quebec.

I have Ebay ram air intake with a Ractive torando filter. Great quality. Better than APC or those filters that come with most Ebay intake. The point is the Ractive filter quality is great for the price it sold for.
I got mine from GI.Joes for under $40 dollars.

I have the ractive axle back, other than one of the hangers not matching up, which they have supposedly fixed in the newer models i love it, it was hella cheap(got it for 60 off ebay) and it sounds great, low deep tone that doesnt drone not buzzy at all. I have the header on order through the GB, its been dyno'd for about a 5whp gain on someones car but it was mildly modded and it looks good. The quality on the exhaust as far as welds and everything was great, mandrel bent steel and the tig welding was perfect, of course it was machined.

Personally I think ractive gets a bad rep from alot of people for being a "cheap" brand, well guess what they mass manufacture their products so they are affordable, of course they wont be as good as the hand made AWR heade ror other small proccessed items but it also costs less than half as much. I mean you cant have both. And like dave said in the topic which other companies have as much in product support for the proteges in performance parts. especially being part of toucan which opens a shitload of lighting products and the evotion series of exhausts

i have the intake and the brake rotors. no problems with either and both look great. im putting together a gb on the headers which people that have them seem to like.

Yup. I like all my Ractive stuff. It's no MOMO or anything, but it's still great stuff.
