racing seats

anyone replace the stock seats with racing seats such as sparco/corbeau etc
I was thinking on getting a set and i know you can get universal brackets...will it be that much trouble or would i better off sinking the cash into somehting else..I dont find the seats all that great in the P5..dont get me wrong they could be worse but I'd like something with more support

Dude one time I sat in some racing seats and they were uncomfortable as hell. What are the P5 seats like? Are they the same as the MP3 ones? Hmm o.o;

your prob thinking of the upright ones that dont recline and stuff....
i'm pretty sure the seats are the same with different trim..i may be wrong

Hey new,
I am not very happy with the seats in the mp3. I must say that they look great and I love that silver material on the seats. But they offer no lateral support when you go into a hard corner. My friend has some recaro's in his type r and they offer great support and look nice too. I also like the 2 tone sparcos and momo seats(reclinable) that are also pretty comfy. Maybe after the turbo I can sink some money into seats but for a good set of name brand reclinable seats is about 1200! Cant make my mind up seats with some racing harness's or some nice 18inch volk wheels.

I'm looking to buy the Sparco Milano's. They're Alcantara (suede) looks GQ. But the material is a little too plush for some people though.

I think the Torino's are a little more usable. They're made of a normal cloth material (Jacquard). They have a few decent colors too

The Milano's are expensive, but hey everyone has different tastes.

you can get the torinos for around $4-500 us...still i'd even be pleased with these....only $300 Us each

I personally like the Mazdaspeed seats that are in the corksport.com misc. area just my 2 cents I like how the Mazda speed goes down the center of the seat.

I'd rather the sparcos..can't beat the name or like the corbeaus for 1/2 the price...still sparcos are where its at..just hard to justify a grand on seats
think i'll get some car audio stuff first
