the sparco milano prestige is $1,399 retail. (drive) i wouldn't doubt the enzo model is just about the target range as well.

This is the seat that I lust for:

Cobra Misano R. It doesn't get any better than that. Unfortunately at $1199, it doesn't get much more expensive, either.

where did you get yours --- thanks
Dont know who the question is for, but if you are asking me, I got it from SP Engineering and the brackets from Rishie at AutoRnD

Edit: Actually, my co-workers gave me this seat as a present after returning from deployment :D, I bought the brackets :(

I have Bride Ergo II's, Im 5'7" 170lbs. and it's a pretty tight fit, it holds you thats for sure :D. It's a very comfortable seat. The seat fits fine since I have the brackets.

I'm trying to get an estimate of the widest seat that will fit in the Protege, so I have a question...

With your seat in the normal driving position, how much clearance do you have between the right-side front of your seat and the middle console? Does it rub?

It appears that your seat is almost 19 inches wide. I'm looking at seats that are about 20.5 inches wide. The middle console starts to intrude on the passenger area as you move towards the front of the car and I'm thinking that 20.5 inches may be to wide.

Thanks!

Finally got my Recaro LXF seats on...I had to fabricate the base mount so the Recaro universal sliders could still be height adjustable just like the original...but modified it a bit.

quick question, if you fabricate your own sliders and they break and you swerve in traffic and kill some people, will your insurance company still cover you?

Fabricating you own sliders would be really difficult. Get universal sliders like Recaros.

All:

In case anybody is interested...

I just purchase my new Recaros (finally). They have a limited number (i.e. only 300 made) of the Recaro SE model (combination of comfort and sport). I paid $325 apeice (unheard-of price, MSRP is $450) along with Recaro sliders. I'm buying the mounting bracket from Wedge Engineering.

Do a search on the web for "Recaro SE". Only two companies currently carry them (it appears): On Track Peformance (only 2 left) and Speedware Motorsports (they charge $399 apiece, though).

If you looking for a quality seat that has passed the TUV safety certifications (and probably some american crash certifications as well) at a great price, go ahead and grab these before they're all gone--and they may all be gone soon.
