Hey All!

i cant imagine a change just from a muffler. the sound will change.

there are a few threads on exhausts/mufflers.

i havnt heard any bad things about the RBx

yea i didnt think so. thank you for the reply..

do you know if the RBx sounds better then the CS? i know CS is a full catback but i was curious.

thanks :)

i have the RB on my protege, and i hope to get one for my msm too! (especially after hearing it on another msm) i love the sound, IMO the best sounding/looking muffler money can buy!

i'm sure it'll be amazing on the 2!

I have RB muffler on my 2, I think it sounds amazing. It has a deep sound and really can't be heard on the highway, but in low gears it sounds amazing. you should just youtube it there should be a few with the RB on M2 videos.

Vs the CS exhaust: They both sound similar, CS has a slightly higher pitch. I got the RB cause it has a nice flush look with the M2 cause of the tip cut.

Either way, you wont see much if any extra power with the muffler, so if you have the money I'd go for the CS exhaust system. I R POOR.

yea the main reason im looking at the RBx is because of the price. haha if i had the cash ide deffinately probably go CS but from the vids and reviews of the RB i think ill go with that for now until maybe somethin bigger and better comes out down the line. Thank you everyone for your input! :) MUCH APPRECIATED!

remember, you don't want to go any bigger than what RB has to offer, i think they're 2.25"...especially with such a small engine. and i've noticed that RB seems to have the lowest prices anyway!

(unless you're talking about bigger as in louder, lol)

No gains on the RB Muffler. Just sound and looks. (which both are awesome). If you want a power gain, it will come from the CS (even though I am sure it isnt a huge bump either) Go with the one you think sounds and looks better.

yeah, one isn't going gain any power from a 2 unless you have a header and header back exhaust with no cats.
