quick question about the power windows...

i was looking at mazdas website at the specs of our ms3s and i read "Power windows with driver and passenger one touch open/close feature" i only have power down with my drivers side... am i reading this wrong or did i get jipped outta the rest...

it specifically says it on mazdas website and i even remember it saying it also before i bought my car in january... so it cant only be an 08.5 thing

The window on the driver's side appears to have only the auto down feature, no auto up. The passenger side has nothing.

Does the Mazda 6 have the lit swithces on its window control panel? And i think that the passenger switch has auto down on it as well. I have seen the whole window control module for the mazda 6 for sale. Can we just swap the swithces and get the auto down?

WEll when my speed3 comes back from the development shop. Ill take my bros speed 6 im driving. the switch panels look close. and i think the auto system is in the switches. I was going to take the 6 one out, and compare it ot the 3. see if th ewiring is the same if it is i was goign to transfer it over and see fi it works.

I knwo on the speed6 if you ut out the batter you have to reset the windows. have to go to each one, roll them down, then roll them upp till you hear a clickign sound. Wonder if that trick will work as a hidden thing, lol. BUt really
Wehn both are on ym driveway i am goign to sit there and try them out see what it takes to make ti work!

Cool Bro!....You right!. The switches on the two cars are nearly identical, but the wiring may not be. Take pics of your finds and let us know as soon as you know if it can be done or not. I think and this is only speculation. The MS6 has auto down and auto up. I'm not interested in the auto up feature since that may require an anti pinch feature, all i want to do is take a switch from a 6 put it on a 3 and see if the auto down feature works on the 3.

Sorry, it doesn't work. I got one of these modules and it is completely different inside. The motors in the doors are different too. I sent it back.

ok but does anyone know why on the site it says it comes with it but in reality it doesnt...
im more into having at least auto down on the front 2, i dont care as much about the auto up or the rears... but having auto up is a plus also
