If theres one thing on my car I've never touched it has to be my coilovers. Maybe because they were already installed when I bought it. So heres a big dump n00b Q for you all.

I just noticed that my p5 was a bit lower in the front right end compared to the rest of my car.

How would I go about adjusting my Skunk2's?

Do I need any special tools besides the obvious jack/stands?

I'm almost positive that Skunk2s are different, but to adjust the height of my JIC Magic coilovers, I just jack the car up and use the two wrenches that came with them. A tape measure is a good way to get everything even. :)

When you adust the ride height at any one corner, you alter the corner weight at all four corners, changing the location of the center of gravity and the resulting handling of the car. It seems that the only way you _really_ know what you are doing is to use scales to quantify your adjustments. It can be done with two scales, but four scales make things go a lot faster.

I did notice yesterday that Longacre Racing (www.longacreracing.com) has some nifty ride height measuring jigs. The most accurate method of measuring ride height requires disconnecting the shock absorbers, stabilizer bars and anything else that might create a preload. You might get a "reasonable" result/outcome by keeping the relationship of the ride height at all four corners constant with that of a stock car.

Scales are the only way you really know what you are changing.
