Question For the people In Arizona

Hey, I just wanted to see if anyone here that lives in Arizona goes to UTI

I'm planning on moving to Arizona in mid June this year and am going to UTI, so just want to see if there are any people near by, that could possibly show me around. As long as everything goes through, i'm sure i'll be coming to Arizona. Hows the weather over there right now? I hear its going to be HOT around June.

hi. hope you come out. the heat makes us crazy. twitch twitch SPAZ twitch twitch. oh wait, that's just from our site being down. anyway, there are plenty of people in the phoenix area!

weather is pretty nice today. low 70's down in tucson. not sure about phoenix though. if you can avoid moving in may, june, july, august, or september, you're good. and make sure to drink plenty of water when you're out here. i average about a gallon to a gallon and a half a day (3-5 of those one liter water bottles). stay well hydrated and your body will thank you.

Sounds like good weather to me right now. Yea I tried to leave in Mrach, but my parents want me to finish up the semester at the community College i'm going to. So i'm stuck moving to arizona in june. I'vre been telling my friends "yea, i'll need to drink a lot of water and put on sun screen. Thanks for the tips, about water, i usually get lazy and don't drink water. Hope to see everyone there........

We'll be here. Just to givu a heads up, we have a mountain run the first weekend in June every year. It starts at 5000 foot level and goes above 8000 foot in the tall pines of northern Arizona. Its a great way to beat the heat for a day.

Last year we had around 25 cars on this little mountain run. Oh a little heads up don't follow Truc (tonkabui) on the mountain runs, he gets lost following a line of traffic and made a wrong turn. (Hi Truc :) )

Anyway there around 30 or so of us that all get together at different times. See you around this summer.

When somebody tells you " But its a dry heat" Tell them to go turn on their oven to 120* and climb in. its a dry heat too. ;D

I grew up in Yuma and my family from Tennessee and Pa would always say it was a dry heat in Arizona. I got tired of hearing them so I snapped back with that one day and the frase has been with me from then on

Yeah, I was part of that 89 mile mishap...he he he...wouldn't ahve sucked soo bad if the highway didn't own truc's front, that made me gasp

Well since the topic had changed onto Truc's misguided tour of the Arizona desert.

When you leave Wickenburg Az you head northwest on Hwy 93. About 10 miles out of town you come to a Y in the hwy. left continues on 93 towards Kingman and right is Hwy 89 towards Prescott (where we all went). Well Truc saw the sign for Hwy 89 but continued left thinking Prescott was only 89 miles away.

Truc and the misguided mazdas did finally catch up to the rest of the pack on Mingus Mountain at a look out point.

yeah, that was dumb. i think what was worse on 93 (even more so than my front bumper) was that bird that got smacked by the truck! all i remember was feathers and down EVERYWHERE. poor thing.

Well, some stuff came up and i'm ending up not going to Arizona. I'm actualy ending up going to the new campus being made in Sacramento.

umm mountain run, yay, car should be in good shape by then, expecting to pick up my rex from luke AFB Wednesday at the latest, after the finish putting together what me and Rich couldn't (Doh, I hate transmissions). and by then I should have the clutch broke in, yay, lotsa drivin for me.

Okay, change of plans. My plans are back to the way they were before, i'm coming to Arizona, but not in June. I'm trying to get there in September, but if that doesn't work i might get here in August.....i'll keep everyone updated.

I'm really excited to get to Arizona, though I'll have to drive it will be long. Damn once i get ther i still have to find an apartment, and possibly get a roommate......don't want to get one but might be cheaper...
