question for MS3 OWNER

i just installed the PROSPORT PREMIUM BOOST GAUGE. everything went pretty smooth during the installation. i took a drive on highway in 6th gears on 60mph, once i giving the boost it shows 18psi on the gauge and it drop to 15psi?? i heard dat MS3 run 15psi on stock boost, but how come mine is like dat? what do u guys think?? maybe i wire in wrong way or the vacum hose is leaking?? my current setup is synapes bov and injen intake...anyone help?? i can throw a pic of my wiring.

No what your experiencing is boost spike, mine does the same thing and I'm running 30psi springs on my BPV. It's natural that it will settle, think of it as the Scramble button that HKS use to have on their boost controllers.

It takes a while for the ECU to adjust boost before it settles to 15psi especially if you slam your foot down.

boost spike basically is the initial pressure that the gauge reads as the pressure builds in the system, as long as it settles it ok, if it doesn't then ur zoom zoom will go boom boom!
